NEXT EVENT

Feast of
    Tabernacles

October 6-12, 2021  2pm

Feast of Passover

New Testament Passover is the day the Messiah died on the cross, shedding his blood for our sins.  This is the day we honor our Lord's death.  We have singing, testimonies, and preaching.  After that part of the service we have a time of humble prayer.  That is followed by communion with unleavened bread and wine.  Footwashing sums up the service.

Feast of Unleavened Bread

There are 7 days of unleavened bread.  The first day of unleavened bread is a High Sabbath.  Also, the 7th day is a High Sabbath.  For 7 days only food eaten is unleavened.

Feast of Pentecost

From the 8th day count of the omer, we come to the Day of Pentecost.  This coincides with Isreal's meeting with God at Sinai and also the day the Holy Ghost was poured out on the Messiah's believers.

Feast of Trumpets

The next feast day brings us to the 7th month which some call the Fall Festivals of the Lord.  The feasts have not been fulfilled yet.  This Sabbath Day is the first day of the 7th month.

Feast Day of Atonement

This also is a Sabbath Day and is on the 10th day of the 7th month.  This is a day of affliction with fasting and denying normal pleasures.  This is in the representation of the Lord arresting Satan and binding him for 1000 years.

Feast of Tabernacles

This is a 7 day feast of rejoicing.  The 1st day is a Sabbath.  This is foreshadowing the time when the Lord will tabernacle with humanity on this earth during the 1000 years rule with Christ.

Last Great Day

This is what Jesus called it in the gospel.  It is called the 8th day in Leviticus 23.  This is the time of the Great White Throne Judgment and followed by eternity.
